NEEDs
and WANTs are different when writing for websites. For example, a potential buyer
has reached your website because they 'need' a new PC. Why? Because the
one they have apparently keeps crashing. It's too slow. It's at least two years
old!
But,
guess what, they actually want a new PC to play the latest games, write
DVDs and have a meaner machine than their next door neighbour! So, when writing
for a website, if you can satisfy the needs and then anticipate as well
as effectively describe how you will deliver the wants, then you're both
a winner and a successful seller!
Also
endeavour to strike a friendly and helpful tone. For example, think and
be like your favourite shop assistant!
